Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

At Transylvania Harmony Travel we believe trust is the foundation of every journey. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Transylvania Harmony Travel is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at Str. Comana, Nr. 71, Hălmeag, Brașov, Romania, by email at travel@transylvaniaharmony.com, or by phone at +40 745 137 676.

2. What personal data we collect

When you contact us or plan a trip with us, we collect the details you share in our forms: your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred destination and travel dates, travel category, number of travelers, and anything you tell us in your message. When you browse the site, we also receive limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit — see our Cookie Policy for details.

3. Why we process your data

We use your data to respond to your enquiries and design your itinerary (steps taken at your request before entering a contract), to organise and deliver the journey you book with us (performance of a contract), to improve our website and services (our legitimate interest), to send you occasional news only if you have asked for it (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules.

4. Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary with the trusted local partners who make your journey possible — hosts, guides, drivers, and boutique accommodations — and with the service providers who run our website, email, and payment tools. Public authorities receive data only where the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for up to two years after our last exchange, booking and invoicing records for as long as Romanian fiscal law requires, and marketing preferences until you withdraw your consent. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at travel@transylvaniaharmony.com — we will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro), though we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

8. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — secure hosting, encrypted connections, and limited access — to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or the law evolve. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest revision, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

10. Contact

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact Transylvania Harmony Travel at travel@transylvaniaharmony.com or +40 745 137 676.
